Types of transactions concerned by 3D Secure
The following transactions are not subject to the application of this Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2):
- Distance sales transactions of MO/TO type (Mail Order, Telephone Order);
- Payments initiated by the merchant without the online presence of the customer;
- Cardholders or merchants outside the European Economic Area.
